The club is due an AGM, but with little new to discuss and in the interests of maximising our gaming time when we return it has been suggested that we forgo this in 2022. The purpose of the AGM is predominantly to confirm committee appointments and changes to club rules.
Since the last AGM there have been no suggested changes to the club rules and the current committee have agreed to continue to stand. According to HHWC rules If a committee candidate is unopposed no vote need take place to appoint them. So theoretically if no votes need to take place neither does the AGM.
Should an existing club member like to suggest a rules change or challenge a committee position please contact me directly and we’ll arrange an AGM for the votes to take place. Nominations and suggestions for club rules should be submitted no later than the 21st February in accordance with the rules.
Anything non-rules and non-committee position related will be tabled for the next committee meeting as normal.
